Primogems are the most important currency in Genshin Impact since they are the means by which players can interact with limited characters. However, getting them turns out to be a difficult task. For free-to-play (F2P) players, getting Primogems is one of the hardest things to do. Regretfully, rumors of an upcoming update indicate that the number of Primogems is going to decrease significantly.

Before an update, legitimate dataminers usually provide an estimate of the primogems before an update, giving the community an idea of how much can be farmed in that particular patch. However, version 4.3’s estimated numbers seem lower than usual, estimating that everyone can obtain approximately 50 pulls while remaining completely F2P.

  • Welkin Moon: 77 pulls
  • F2P: 51 pulls

In the upcoming update, the following number of primogem  have been calculated from upcoming events and login rewards:

As per the community, The F2P pull count is the lowest in the history of the game, Genshin Impact 3.7 used to give players 55 pulls. These numbers are still tentative and could fluctuate, though. One of the main reasons for the lower number is that Version 4.3 does not bring any new places to the world of Teyvat.

However, it’s important to note that HoYoverse has nominated Genshin Impact for “Best Ongoing Game,” which may lead to the distribution of ten pulls. Players should also expect different results from the limited event event.
