On Saturday, Crunchyroll started streaming the following anime in India:
- The television anime adaptation of Nazuna Miki and Subachi’s light novel series titled “My Unique Skill Makes Me OP even at Level 1” (Level 1 dakedo Unique Skill de Saikyō desu).
- The anime adaptation of Haruki Kuō’s light novel series called “Liar Liar” (unrelated to Renjuro Kindaichi’s Liar x Liar manga).
- “TenPuru,” the television anime based on Kimitake Yoshioka’s manga “TenPuru -No One Can Live on Loneliness-.”
My Unique Skill Makes Me OP even at Level 1
“My Unique Skill Makes Me OP even at Level 1” premiered on July 8 on Tokyo MX and BS NTV. Ani-One Asia is streaming the anime simultaneously with its Japanese broadcast.
The series is directed by Yūji Yanase (known for By the Grace of the Gods) at MAHO FILM. Yuka Yamada (known for Tokyo Mew Mew New) is responsible for the series composition. The main character designs are created by Miyako Nishida (known for In Another World With My Smartphone), Eri Kojima (known for In the Land of Leadale), Kaho Deguchi (known for If It’s for My Daughter, I’d Even Defeat a Demon Lord), and Yūko Ōba (known for I’m the Villainess, So I’m Taming the Final Boss). The music is composed by Endō. The ending theme song “Tamborine no Naru Oka” (The Tambourine-Ringing Hill) is performed by Airi Miyakawa.
The series originally debuted on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō (Let’s Be Novelists) website in February 2017 by Miki. The light novel series, authored by Miki and Subachi, was launched in September 2017. Mawata adapted the series into a manga, which premiered on Kodansha’s “Suiyōbi no Sirius” website in May 2018. Both the light novel series and the manga adaptation are licensed by Kodansha USA Publishing. The series has achieved a cumulative circulation of over 1.1 million copies.
Liar Liar
“Liar Liar” premiered in Japan on July 8, and Ani-One Asia is streaming the anime concurrently with its Japanese airing.
The anime is directed by Satoru Ōno and Naoki Matsuura (known for Girls’ Frontline episode direction) at Geek Toys. Momoka Toyoda (known for Shadows House episode script writing) is responsible for the series scripts. Yumi Nakamura (known for Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku OVA 2-3 character design) designs the characters. The opening theme song “Lies Goes On” is performed by May’n, while the ending theme song “faky merry game” is performed by idol group SMILE PRINCESS.
TenPuru
“TenPuru” premiered on July 8 at 25:30 a.m. JST (effectively, July 9 at 1:30 a.m. JST or July 8 at 12:30 p.m. EDT) on the TOKYO MX and BS11 channels.
The anime is directed by Kazuomi Koga (known for Kubo Won’t Let Me Be Invisible, Rent-A-Girlfriend) at Gekkō. Masato Katsumata (known for The Quintessential Quintuplets the Movie, The Dangers in My Heart) designs the characters, and Yōhei Kashii (known for My One-Hit Kill Sister) is responsible for the series scripts. The five main female cast members perform the ending theme song “Oidemase! Mikazukidera” as their respective characters.
