Hey guys, what’s up? Did you know? Crunchyroll has announced some exciting news for Indian anime fans! They’ve announced that they are gonna stream the Hindi-dubbed version of “The Detective Is Already Dead.” From August 30, 2023, at 8:30 a.m. IST
In addition to this announcement, Crunchyroll has also revealed the talented cast for the Hindi dub:
- Sahil Kulkarni as Kimihiko Kimizuka
- Ayushi as Siesta
About The Anime:
“The Detective Is Already Dead” originally aired from July to September 2021 and has even announced a second season.
This anime is based on a Japanese light novel series penned by Nigojū and beautifully illustrated by Umibōzu. Media Factory has been publishing this captivating series since November 2019 under their MF Bunko J imprint. And if that’s not enough, there’s a manga adaptation with artwork by Mugiko, serialized in Media Factory’s Monthly Comic Alive since May 2020. Both the light novel and manga are officially licensed in North America by Yen Press.
For those who are unfamiliar with the story of “The Detective Is Already Dead,” Crunchyroll describes the plot of the anime as:
Kimihiko Kimizuka, who, after thwarting a hijacking incident with the brilliant silver-haired detective Siesta, embarks on a life of globe-trotting and crime-solving. However, tragedy strikes when Siesta passes away. A year later, a new case emerges, reopening old wounds and weaving a tale of murder, conspiracy, and Kimihiko’s late partner.
