Great news for Golden Kamuy fans! The popular series will continue with Golden Kamuy Season 5, which has been revealed as the final chapter in the much-beloved saga. The announcement came after the thrilling season finale of the fourth season, accompanied by a teaser visual that left fans eager for more.
Initially slated for an October 2022 premiere, the fourth season of Golden Kamuy faced a setback due to the demise of an important staff member. That said, a live-action movie adaptation was released in Japanese theaters in January 2024.
However, the broadcast resumed in April of this year, much to the delight of fans. Shizutaka Sugahara served as the chief director for the fourth season, while Noboru Takagi handled the series composition. Takumi Yamakawa was responsible for the character designs, and Satoshi Fujimoto replaced Toru Koga as the art director in the rebroadcasted version.

Golden Kamuy, based on the manga by Satoru Noda, first debuted in Weekly Young Jump magazine in 2014. The anime adaptation’s first two seasons were animated by Geno Studio and aired in 2018 and 2019. Geno Studio also animated the third season, which was broadcast in 2020.
