The latest cover of Classroom Of The Elite’s light novel has caused a buzz on Twitter, revealing an unexpected delay for the highly anticipated 3rd season of the anime.
Initially planned for 2023, Classroom Of The Elite season 3 will now be released in Winter 2024.
More information about the reason behind the delay and the exact release date is yet to be disclosed.
Classroom of the Elite is a Japanese light novel series illustrated by Shunsaku Tomose and penned by Shōgo Kinugasa. It was published by Media Factory’s MF Bunko J imprint from May 2015 to September 2019.
A sequel light novel series titled “Classroom of the Elite: Year 2” started publishing in January 2020.
The series also has manga adaptations. One by Yuyu Ichino began serialization in Media Factory’s Monthly Comic Alive on January 27, 2016. Another manga adaptation of the sequel light novel series, illustrated by Shia Sasane, started serialization in the same magazine on December 25, 2021.
The anime TV series transformation, created by Lerche, circulated its most memorable season in 2017, trailed continuously season that broadcasted from July to September 2022.
