Hey guys wassup? did you hear the latest news from Crunchyroll? They just announced the Chainsaw Man Hindi dub starting from July 29 2023 at 8 a.m. IST(Indian Standard Time). Pretty cool right?
Also they’ve already revealed the Hindi dub cast for the anime! Here’s who will be voicing the characters:
- Denji will be voiced by Lohit Sharma.
- Makima will be voiced by Saudamini Anjaria.
- Aki Hayakawa will be voiced by Himanshu Rana.
- Power will be voiced by Ayushi.
- Pochita ( the Chainsaw Devil ) will be voiced by Yash Pawar.
- Himeno will be voiced by Surabhi Shrivastava.
- Kobeni Higashiyama will be voiced by Merlyn James.
- Hirokazu Arai will be voiced by Warren D’Souza.
The Chainsaw Man was originally aired in Japan from October 11 2022, to December 27 2022. It had total 12 episodes and each one had a unique ending theme song.
For those who are unfamiliar with the Chainsaw Man the story:
A Chainsaw Devil named Pochita lives with Dengi. Because of his father’s debt, Denji’s life hasn’t been easy, but he manages to repay it by harvesting devil corpses with Pochita. But then things took a dark turn when Denji was betrayed and killed. However, he makes a deal with Pochita just before he fades away and gets revived as
“Chainsaw Man” – a guy with a devil’s heart.
Chainsaw Man is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Tatsuki Fujimoto. From December 2018 to December 2020 it firstly appeared in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump after that it started its second arc in shonen jump+ on July 2022.
The manga has been a huge success, with over 24 million copies in circulation by May 2023. The 66th Shogakukan Manga Award in the shonen category was even won by it in 2021 and in 2021 & 2022 it won the Harvey Awards for Best Manga.
