The highly anticipated TV anime series, “Frieren,” has just unveiled a new promotional video featuring the opening and ending songs performed by Yoasobi and Millet, respectively. As per the trailer, “Frieren” is scheduled to debut on September 29, 2023, at 9 pm JST with a special two-hour episode. Subsequently, the series will air weekly starting on October 6, 2023, at 11 pm JST. Adapted from the manga series written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe, “Frieren” transports viewers to a mystical and awe-inspiring realm.

Toho Animation released the official third trailer on their YouTube channel, portraying Frieren embarking on a journey with her new party following the hero Himmel’s demise. The trailer also showcases numerous thrilling battles and top-notch animation. Importantly, Madhouse successfully captures the raw emotions of the original work. Furthermore, the trailer unveils the opening and ending theme songs.

Renowned singer YOASOBI performs the opening theme song of “Frieren” anime titled “Hero” and shares her thoughts on contributing to the theme song.

The new “Frieren” anime trailer also reveals the ending theme song titled “Anytime Anywhere” by Milet. The Japanese singer delivers a heartfelt performance, expressing her deep emotions while working on this song, as seen on the anime’s official website.

Lastly, the trailer confirms that the show will kick off with a two-hour special episode on Friday, September 29, at 9 pm JST. Subsequent episodes will air weekly on Fridays at 11 pm JST, starting from October 6, 2023.

“Along with the hero Himmel and his friends, the Wizard Frieren defeated the Demon King and brought peace to the world after 10-year adventure. She is an elf who has lived for more than a thousand years. She promises to meet Himmel and others again and sets out on a journey alone,” the synopsis reads.
