The new anime series “My Happy Marriage” has unveiled its third trailer, which features the ending theme song “Itaphilosophy” by Kashitaro Ito. The series has also revealed the inclusion of two more actors in its cast, with Toshinari Fukamachi portraying Kazuyuki Tatsuishi and Akira Ishida taking on the role of Takaihito. Fans can look forward to the premiere of the anime on July 5, exclusively on Netflix.
Previously, the series released its first trailer in January, followed by a second trailer two weeks ago. The animation is being handled by Studio Kinema Citrus, with direction by Takehiro Kubota. The scripts are written by Takahito Onishi, Ami Sato, and Momoka Toyada, while the music is composed by Even Call. Shoko Yasuda has been tasked with adapting the character designs from Akumi Agitogi’s original light novel.
The light novel originally appeared on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website. It was later acquired by Fujimi L Bunko in January 2019, with illustrations provided by Tsukiho Tsukioka. The English licensing rights for the novel have been acquired by Yen Press.
The story revolves around Miyo Saimori, who is born without any supernatural abilities in a noble family known for their talents. She endures a life of servitude under her abusive stepmother. However, when she reaches the age of marriage, her hopes are shattered upon discovering her fiancé’s true identity: Kiyoka Kudou, a commander rumored to be cold and cruel, causing previous brides to flee within three days of their engagements. With no other options, Miyo accepts her fate but soon realizes that her pale and beautiful fiancé may not be the monster she expected. As they gradually open their hearts to each other, they both discover the possibility of true love and happiness.
