Exciting news for Code Geass fans! On July 11, 2023, The official website of the highly much awaited musical adaptation of Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion revealed character visuals. Ryotaro Akazawa will portray Suzaku Kururugi while Koji Kominami will portray as Lelouch Lamperouge.

Under the direction of Yoshitani Kotaro and with scriptwriting by Sho Kubota, this highly anticipated Code Geass musical adaptation is scheduled to open at Kyoto Theater from September 16 to 18, 2023. Following that, it will captivate audiences at Sunshine Theater in Tokyo from September 23 to October 1, 2023.
Popular Japanese anime television series Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion is created by Sunrise. It was directed by Goro Taniguchi, written by Ichirou Kouchi and character designs by Clamp.Â
Originally broadcasted in Japan from October 2006 to July 2007, Code Geass received high acclaim. With a simultaneous airing on MBS and TBS from April to September 2008. The follow-up series Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 is maintained its popularity.
In addition to the anime series, three compilation films that relive the original seasons’ events while introducing new plotlines were produced between 2017 and 2018. Additionally, in February 2019, the alternate reality of the film trilogy’s Zero Requiem was the setting for a brand-new original movie named Code Geass Lelouch of the Resurrection.
