Please note that this information may contain spoilers from the Oshi no Ko manga.
According to leaked information from @sneakyoshi sources, Oshi no Ko chapter 126 is scheduled for release on Thursday, September 14, 2023, in the Weekly Young Jump issue #42. As a result, the main storyline of the manga will be on hiatus until that date. In the meantime, a short manga series titled “Oshi no Ko -interlude-” will be released, consisting of four chapters, which will be published before the main story resumes.
The reason for the main story’s hiatus has not been officially revealed, but it is speculated that the manga author, Aka Akasaka, might be using this time to plan the possible final arc of the series.
Regarding the interlude series, the first chapter is set to be released on August 10. However, due to a break in the magazine on August 17, the second chapter will be released on August 24.

Now with disclaimers out of the way, here are the spoilers for Oshi no Ko -interlude-:
As the fans of the series know, Mem-Cho initially aspired to become an idol but eventually prioritized making money due to her conditions, leading her to pursue a career as a YouTuber instead. In the first two pages we see Mem-Cho try to establish herself as a YouTuber as she had just caught “her second wind” which could mean she had finally seen some success after a series of failures as a YouTuber.
Later on, Mem-Cho is inquired whether her dream of becoming an idol over now. Which allows us to get a great insight on Mem-Cho’s heart, her motivations and her dreams.
Afterwards, Mem-Cho is invited to a blind date party, to which she agrees to come along for ‘content’ but instead of content, she is forced into a kiss. During which she realises the things important to her, her dreams and what she wants to be in her life.
At the end of the 6 page short, we see Mem-Cho coming back to her senses, denying the kiss and running away with clarity of her dream of becoming an idol. The chapter ends with Mem-Cho reaffirming that “I still really want to be one.“
Plot of Oshi no Ko Manga
Oshi no Ko, written by Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari, follows the story of two fans of idol Ai Hoshino who are reincarnated as her twin children after their deaths. Tragically, Ai Hoshino is murdered by an obsessed fan. The manga then shifts focus to the lives and goals of the two children, Aquamarine and Ruby.
