Hey guys, I have exciting news for Jujutsu Kaisen and Fortnite fans. Fortnite’s official Twitter account just announced the most awaited collaboration between the two franchises on August 1, 2023.
As the above tweet says, this awesome collaboration will go live on August 8, 2023, at 5:00 p.m., along with Fortnite’s v25.30 update.
They also released a new exciting trailer for the collaboration. The trailer shows 3D renditions of Jujutsu Kaisen characters like Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki and Satoru Gojo dramatically breaking the walls to make their epic entrance into the epic Fortnite universe. Fortnite is an online multiplayer battle royal game released in 2017 by Epic Games, featuring different game modes like Fortnite Battle Royale, Fortnite: Save the World and Fortnite Creative. Fortnite Battle Royale has taken the world by attracting millions of players and raking in massive revenues since its launch.
On the other hand,
Jujutsu Kaisen is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Gege Akutami. It’s been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump since March 2018 and has become quite popular. The anime adaptation was done by MAPPA, and its first season aired from October 2020 to March 2021. There is also a movie adaptation titled Jujutsu Kaisen 0 that premiered in Japan in December 2021.
