With the introduction of Sarina’s mother, fans are full of speculations on how the whole thing will play out. While Aqua is aware of the identity of Sarina’s mother, our Ruby is yet to meet her mother from past life. So, what may chapter 122 have in store for us?
Recap of Chapter 121
With the release of Oshi no Ko chapter 121, fans witnessed Ruby learning that her mother from her time as Sarina, Marina Tendouji, was living happily with her new children. Ruby was unaware of the circumstances behind the same. However, she was convinced that her life only brought misfortune to the ones close to her.
Towards the end of the chapter, there were hints that Aqua discovered Ruby’s true identity from her past life. So how this may connect with chapter 122? Let’s see what we can figure out from the spoilers.

Spoilers of Chapter 122
In the first part, there was a scene showing Ruby and Sarina together, followed by a monologue and flashbacks to a hospital. When Ruby looks at Aqua again, her gaze is exactly the same as Sarina’s.
Upon hearing what seems to be Aqua crying, Ruby asks, “Why are you crying, Aqua? What did you just call me?” She wonders where he learned that and questions if he is her teacher.
Then, Aqua picks up the AI keychain that Ruby always carries with her and says, “I’ve been looking for this!” He realizes that Sarina, referring to Ruby, had kept it for him. This leads to Aqua looking at Goro while Ruby looks at Sarina. When their eyes meet, Ruby starts crying and they share a heartfelt hug.
