Attack on Titan Author creates a new Twitter handle named “Shingeki_FLY” We all are familiar that the AOT manga is already finished, and by late 2023 or early 2024, the anime will also meet its end (of course, it’s sad news for every AOT fan).

In the above tweet, the author revealed through his Twitter handle that it’s been 14 years since Attack on Titan came into existence, and now, he looks forward to fulfilling the promise he had made to the fandom. Hence, he will be revealing some new information on October 4, 2023.

However, it doesn’t seem fans remember any such promise, so everyone has started talking about it on Twitter. While there are several clueless fans, some fans are assuming the new announcements might talk about a new AOT project, be it a sequel or a prequel. Some fans also assume that it could be a one-shot; however, creating a new account only for a short-term project doesn’t seem very likely.

On the other hand, the community also wonders if this could be anything regarding a live-action project around AOT. That being said, why would a manga author create a new account to tease a live-action? So, it’s no wonder that several fans are convinced (or hoping) for this to be a new manga project centered around the massive Attack on Titan franchise.

Attack on Titan has been a commercial success since it debuted for the first time on the screens, so no matter how big or small the upcoming announcement would be, every fan will indeed mark the date on their calendar.

The Attack on Titan manga started its serialization in 2009 in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine, and after running for 12 years, it reached its conclusion. Even though it became a sensation among manga enthusiasts, it couldn’t get global recognition until Wit Studio came with its first anime adaptation in 2013 (the rest is history).

The anime adaptation made the franchise popular worldwide. Even a non-anime fan is familiar with the name “Attack on Titan,” thanks to its impeccable yet twisted storytelling.

For those who are unfamiliar with the Attack on Titan, the story describes it as follows:

Attack on Titan takes place in a world where humanity is at constant risk because of the massive Titans who have a taste for human flesh. The series introduces us to a little boy, Eren, who sees his mother getting eaten by a Titan, and since then, he has taken it upon himself to eradicate every Titan on the planet.
