So, in this epic episode called “The Connected Bonds: Daybreak and First Light,” we see Tanjiro in the spotlight as he wraps up his epic battle against Hantengu. And let me tell you, it’s no easy feat. Tanjiro faces intense struggles and even has to make a heart-wrenching decision, sacrificing something incredibly important. But hey, he manages to come out on top! Oh, and did I mention we get a glimpse into Hantengu’s backstory? It’s awesome! Plus, Muzan Kibutsuji shows up, teasing us with his next diabolical plan.

But wait, let’s rewind a bit to the previous episode, which had us all on the edge of our seats. Mitsuri Kanroji and Zohakuten had this crazy intense battle where Zohakuten was throwing some major shade at Mitsuri. We also got a glimpse into Mitsuri’s past, where we learn about her incredible strength and insatiable appetite, which apparently led to her facing rejection in the past. But hey, she doesn’t let that stop her. Mitsuri draws strength from the acceptance she found among the Demon Slayer Corps. Talk about inspiring!

Meanwhile, Tanjiro, Nezuko, and Genya are on a mission to find Hantengu’s main body. But here’s the catch: Hantengu is tiny and super fast, making it nearly impossible to catch him. Desperate times call for desperate measures, my friends. Genya starts chucking trees at Hantengu, like, “Take that!” The episode ends with Nezuko leaping through the air, ready to take down Hantengu. The suspense is killing me!

Okay, now back to the finale. Nezuko tries to swipe at Hantengu, but the sneaky demon manages to escape her clutches. Tanjiro, unfortunately, injures his ankle and falls behind. But don’t worry, our hero has a lightbulb moment and remembers Zenitsu’s advice on using Thunder Breathing. Tanjiro musters up all his strength and speed, channeling the power of Hinokami Kagura, and goes for the decapitation move. It’s a nail-biting moment! But, oh no, Hantengu transforms into this giant monstrosity, making Tanjiro and his sword look tiny in comparison. It’s an intense battle, but Tanjiro manages to hold his ground.

Finally, Nezuko unleashes her Blood Demon Art on Hantengu, forcing him to flee. He’s running for dear life with Tanjiro’s sword lodged in his neck. Talk about a close call! But here’s the kicker: Tanjiro believes he has to sacrifice Nezuko because the sunlight is already breaking and he thinks she’s getting burned. But, surprise, surprise! Nezuko walks up to Tanjiro, greets him with a cheerful “good morning,” and conquers the sunlight like a boss! Turns out, her unique blood composition has turned her back into a human. How cool is that?

Now, let’s talk about Muzan. The guy’s obsessed with finding the Blue Spider Lily to conquer the sun and become immortal. But guess what? Nezuko’s newfound immunity to sunlight throws a wrench in his plans. He sees her as the ultimate buffet, eliminating the need to find that elusive flower. Muzan is one crazy demon, I tell you!

We also learn from a letter written by Lady Tamayo, another demon on Tanjiro’s side, that Nezuko’s evolved blood has the power to free other demons from Muzan’s control. Lady Tamayo wonders why Nezuko hasn’t fully reverted to being human yet, but she predicts it’s only a matter of time. And guess what? It happens! Nezuko conquers the sun, just as Lady Tamayo predicted.
