The Saint Jaygarcia Saturn, who becomes aware of Bartholomew Kuma and Dr. Vegapunk’s intentions from the previous chapter. As per the original deal, Saturn forces Kuma to become a Shichibukai and turn into a mindless cyborg, threatening to arrest both him and Bonney if he doesn’t comply.
Kuma agrees and bargains for Bonney’s safety in return. Then, both of them have the surgical procedures on Egghead Island while Admiral Kizaru is keeping an eye on them. The spoilers show that the procedures “take time,” but they don’t say how long. In the end, both surgeries are successful, allowing Bonney to return to the Sorbet Kingdom while Kuma officially becomes a Shichibukai.
Further, the members of the “old” Shichibukai are seen reacting to Kuma. It remains unclear if they read about him in the newspaper or because they actually see him.
