The title for the upcoming Boruto sequel will be ‘BORUTO: TWO BLUE VORTEX’.

This illustration also confirms that the manga would feature a time skip after the events of chapter 80 where the roles of Boruto and Kawaki were reversed all thanks to Eida’s powers.

According to V Jump, the Boruto manga will resume serialization on August 21, 2023, with chapter 81 after a four-month hiatus.

Previously, the Boruto: Naruto Next Generations manga was written by Ukyo Kodachi and illustrated by Mikeo Ikemoto, with Masashi Kishimoto serving as an editorial supervisor. In November 2020, Kishimoto took over the writing duties from Kodachi.

The manga began its serialization in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump in May 2016 and was later transferred to Shueisha’s monthly magazine, V Jump, in July 2019.

Boruto is both a spin-off and a sequel to Kishimoto’s Naruto, following the adventures of Naruto Uzumaki’s son, Boruto Uzumaki, and his ninja team.

An anime television series adaptation started airing on TV Tokyo in April 2017. Unlike the manga, which initially retold the Boruto film, the anime serves as a prequel set before Boruto and his friends become ninjas in a later story arc. Additionally, a series of light novels have been written as well.
